Q. Why are you limiting the workshop to novels?
--We felt we needed a focus, so that when the writers in the class got together for chats they would be "on the same page." In the future, we may run similar workshops for PB and NF writers. Please contact us and ask to be put on our mailing list.

Q. Do I have to pay by Paypal?
--No, you don't have to pay by Paypal. You can mail a check after contacting Eileen Robinson from the class description page by email to get the address. However, places are limited and you can only reserve a place once your payment is received. It is faster and very easy to pay by Paypal. You don't have to have an account if you are paying by credit card.

Q. Will I be working with both of you?
--You will work with one of us throughout the class, so that person will be familiar with the development of your manuscript. We will consult with each other about all students, and as you know, you can cash in your Second Opinion "card" at any stage.

Q. So can I choose the editor I will work with?
--We will be assigning writers to which one of us we feel is the best match, so no, you can't.

Q. You said the topics of the chats are subject to change. What do I do if I want to suggest a new topic?
--Tell us your suggested new topic and explain why you want to talk about it, and which topic it would replace. We will consider it and may pass on your proposal to the class, for a vote: majority decision.

Q. What if I can't keep up with the schedule?
--We will be able to adjust the schedule for the writing part of the class if necessary, since that involves working with you individually. However, we encourage everyone to stick to the schedule, as concentrating on one project over a relatively short period of time may help you produce something better or unexpected.
